Interesting to balance the wheel alone with the rotor prior to tyre fit, I tend to balance with the tyre on and rotor plus the drive hub and sprocket is thee anything wrong with doing it like this, I’d be interested for you to let me know your thoughts please Rowan from the UK

thanks for putting episode 2 online 😉 What is the point of balancing the wheel and epoxying weights on the rim without the tire, knowing that you might have to add more weights when you balance a second time the rim with the tire mounted. Wouldn’t balancing the wheel once the tire is mounted be easier ? Thanks
Thanks for another great video Dave. The spot that heavy rim sagged to indicates that there may be something adding weight to the inside of two of those hollow spokes.
