A used GSX-R600 (and 750) is every bit as capable as the “new” model. Even as far back as the 2004-05 model, but for sure back to 2011 when it was fitted with same BPF forks as the current model.

On my GSXR600 L4 2015 with 9.5nm KTech springs and 7.5w Fork oil and weighing 88kg with gear, I have 6 half turns compression, 4 half turns Tension with 35mm sag.
That feels much better but I wonder if the oil weight and spring make a difference on these settings due to the oil viscosity
The rear shock is probably dead at 18000 miles but I have 38mm sag, 5 half turns Tension, 4 half turns compression (centre screw), 4 half turns outer nut which I think is high speed compression.
I’m learning the feel for everything at the moment and the look to upgrade with you via call for advice and then setup.
There’s a lot to think about as it’s a road bike that I use for 600 miles trips on motorways (Folkestone to Chamonix) B roads and some track days.
I also carry my cocker spaniel in a backpack which he loves but 16kg up high throws the suspension off so I want a good base setup, but then the ability to adjust it for the different uses.
Dave what could be a good idea creating a tool for OEM suspension settings on your side and offer it as part of your premium account
For example a person could enter their bike, weight and age/miles of bikes. From this a baseline settings could be provided which aren’t perfect, but would be better than what they have.
It may not work as I don’t know enough about suspension but I think it could be a tool that would get a lot of sign ups for people starting their suspension setup journey
You could then offer products to upgrade to with setup as they progress.
This isn’t a sales pitch but if you need any help with your WordPress site then I’m happy to help you out as I’m a web developer/director here – https://www.wpcommerce.london/
